- backgrounds and cutscenes have been completely overhauled. Players can now adventure through the world of Spira in gorgeous high definition.
- Re-arranged BGM: Over 60 tracks from the original FINAL FANTASY X soundtrack will be re-arranged and/or remastered in high-definition audio.
- Audio Drama: Written by Scenario Writer Kazushige Nojima
- players will be able to enjoy a new 30-minute audio drama that will be included during the ending credits. Concept art from the original FINAL FANTASY X and FINAL FANTASY X-2 will scroll sideways with the credits as the audio plays.
- Trophy Support: PlayStation 3 system and PlayStation Vita system trophies will be supported.
- Cross-Platform Save Compatibility: Players will be able to share save data between the PlayStation 3 system and the PlayStation Vita system.
