Evangelion, the anime of Hideaki Anno is reinterpreted again and this time by Medicom ! The series debuted in 1995 and features Shinji Ikari who must pilot an Eva who takes part - on the good side - in a post-apocalyptic war around the 2000s. More than cult, Evangelion has received several awards, including the one of the best series in Japan.
The Eva-08 appeared in the 2008 film series Rebuild of Evangelion. The mechanical giant, 80 meters tall, has no less than eight eyes. Imagined by NERV like its predecessors, it is a robot that can be destructive because it is equipped with many weapons, including a sniper rifle. Its pilot, Mari Makibami Illustrious, is one of the only characters who actually enjoys controlling her Eva.
